Lencore's
Spectra i.Net is the highest quality sound masking system in the industry
for speech privacy and comfort. The system works by gently raising the background
sound in the space with masking to create a comfortable environment that supports
concentration and collaboration while enhancing speech privacy, productivity and
performance. Ideal for larger projects with multiple floors
and when network control for the system is desired. Ideal project sizes can range
from 25,000 - 2,000,000+ square feet depending upon project needs and scope of
work. The network server and sound manager for the system can program hundreds
of zones for masking, paging and music; offers 1/3 band octave or parametric equalization.
Music paging interface is revolutionary for paging capabilities. Unsurpassed sound
quality and uniformity for speech privacy and comfort. What
makes Lencore's Spectra i.Net sound masking system so intelligent is its
network capabilities, intuitive technology and its infinite flexibility on an
open-platform system to suit any project size. With its state-of-the-art, networked
capabilities for sound masking, music and paging, the combined innovations of
the complete sound masking system - sound source, speakers, power supply, i.LON®
100, music page interface, equalizers, online Sound Manager and remote control
- put the Spectra i.Net on a new level of customization and performance
for networked sound masking systems. Customizing the Sound:
The OP The
heart of the Spectra i.Net System is the OP (Operating
Platform), the primary sound source that produces, equalizes and distributes
the sound for masking, music, and paging. Each OP includes:
Multiple
sound sources that produce a perfectly random sound quality, with no audible repeats. Independent
equalizers for unprecedented tuning where every channel of the system has a separate
and independent 1/3rd band and parametric equalizer. Sound frequencies
and contour that can be adjusted and set to any point on the acoustical curve,
from 20Hz to 20kHz, making the Spectra i.Net the first networked sound masking
system to make fine-tuning of the entire spectrum of sound possible. A
network that is intelligent enough to bypass any failure in the system to keep
communicating throughout the entire network. Competitor's point-to-point networks
cannot achieve this level of connectivity.
Additional OP FeaturesDisplay
system information on its integrated LCD screen, including the specific address
of the respective enclosure. This address aids in locating the correct OP in the
ceiling plenum, and eliminates the need for as-built drawings when checking or
modifying the system. Checks (during a diagnostic) each OP for
system performance including the operation status of the network, sound masking,
program, memory, and power. OP contains an integrated IR eye and
includes a port to remotely locate the IR access to a port or wall switch to control
the masking, paging, and music.
Zoning and Programming FlexibilityGroupings
of sound sources and channels let you customize an almost limitless amount of
zones for masking, paging, and music for complete networked operation and control. Digital,
Remote and IR ControlThe Spectra i.Net System can be controlled
and adjusted digitally through a web interface, manually through a handheld remote
control, or through an IR port location as directed by the client. Each
sound masking channel can be digitally controlled for sound and zone management
without and change in wiring or need to go back into the ceiling. Also available
is a handheld and infrared (IR) remote for making adjustments and tuning. Point
the remote either at an individual sound source (OP) or to a wall-mounted , infrared
receiver panel. Control has never been faster or easier. Plug & Play
Wide Dispersion SpeakersLencore offers the highest quality speakers in
the sound masking industry with the widest dispersion that perfectly reproduces
the finest masking sound. Our system offers in-plenum and direct field speakers
to suit all ceiling applications and types. Phone jack style connectors are integrated
into each speaker and OP eliminating the need to strip and connect wires, saving
installation time and ensuring a cleaner installation. Head-End Equipment The
Spectra i.Net System head-end equipment is typically installed in the telephone
room IT, or electrical closet and includes the following:
Power
Supply - Plug in, 48V switching power supply unit Music Page Interface
(MPI) - permits zoned paging or music with customers' own telephone system. i.LON®
100 - Plug -in, electronic web server with data port acts as the network conduit
and relays information from the online Sound Manager to the OPs and channels.
The
Music Page Interface Lencore's
Music Page Interface revolutionizes the way companies do paging by replacing all
of the bulky head-end equipment that is typically associated with music andpaging
systems, enabling users to make zone additions, modifications, deletions, and
other changes without the need for rewiring or running multiple home runs back
to the electrical closet or through building risers.
The Spectra i.Net
MPI provides the ability to program up to 100 zones for paging using standard
DTMF tones through a single telephone connection. The system can also be programmed
for all call and emergency broadcst paging and has left and right stereo inputs
for music. In addtion, the system includes AE, (adaptive equalization), that automatically
compensates for frequency loss across the wiring of the entire building and ensures
the clearest, most intelligible page possible. | |
